This Saturday, June 10th I have the great pleasure of returning to the stage to perform with The Tribe. This show is called The Care Concert – an all-star charity show – and we’ll be raising money for homelessness at the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The event is sponsored by the Get Together Foundation, and 100% of the ticket proceeds will go to help house, clothe, feed, and provide services to the homeless in our community.
TV personality Kelly Osbourne will be the show’s Master of Ceremonies along with several other celebrity surprises. The show will feature over 30 of LA’s top performers with special appearances by Florence LaRue (The 5th Dimension), Micky Dolenz (The Monkees), Lamont Dozier Jr. (who recently starred in our hit musical, BUMPERSTICKER), Jack Tempchin (wrote “Take It Easy” for the Eagles), Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), actor/singer Rob Morrow (Northern Exposure), and I have the pleasure of singing a duet with the lovely and talented Coco Dolenz.
Proceeds will benefit Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and the TEEN PROJECT. Cans of food are also being collected for ABC7’s FEED SoCAL.
Doors open at 6:30pm; show starts at 8pm. There will be a SILENT AUCTION with celebrity, sports, and music memorabilia, and more. VIP tickets are already sold out. Advance general admission available until noon on Saturday, day of show. In-person tickets still available up to showtime.
