From Gary Stockdale

Hi everyone. I have three cool holiday concerts to share with you, and I’ll be posting a new holiday video soon. Thanks for all your support this year.
1. This Sunday, Dec. 4th, at CalState Northridge’s Plaza Del Sol Theater I have a featured solo in this amazing rock ‘n’ roll show, Peace, Love and Understanding from The Tribe, a group of music professionals, headed by producer Kevin Wachs, which donates all the proceeds to a worthy cause. In the last year and a half they’ve raised over $63,000! This year, the concert will benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department’s SPARK OF LOVE and the ALISA ANN RUCH BURN FOUNDATION.
And on this show I get to share the stage with Mary Wilson from The Supremes, Peter Asher, of the ‘60s band Peter & Gordon (and Peter produced countless hit records, including most of Linda Ronstadt’s), Carly Smithson, a former American Idol finalist (who has the most AMAZING voice). Plus, Carnie Wilson, Kiki Ebsen, Steve Ferrone, and many more.
Here is the FB event page: which has the link for tickets, and all other info. Hope to see you there for a night of great music for a good cause!
2. Dec. 15, 8pm: Once again I’m set to do the music for the hilarious – and annual –  SIT ‘N’ SPIN Holiday Show at the Comedy Central Stage at The Hudson Theater in Hollywood (corner of Hudson and Santa Monica Blvd.). Heading up the comedy talkers is Davis McHenry, Spencer Green, B. Mark Seabrooks, and Gary Shapiro. And for the second year in a row my band is the likes of STEVE POSTELL, SCOTTY BREADMAN, and JENNIFER LEITHAM. They make everything sound good. The show is at 8pm, and usually sells out fast (although it IS a free show!), so call 323-960-5519 ASAP. Thanks to Sit ‘n’ Spin co-founder Maggie Rowe for not replacing me with someone younger and blonder.
3. My friend Pablo Marz has chosen me to be a part of the Holiday version of his respected Tell It spoken word/comedy show. It’s Dec. 10, 8pm at The Open Space, 457 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, California 90036. The show features local favorites Deana Barone, Sam Feirstein, and Pogo Saito, as well as a few songs from yours truly. Here’s the Facebook event page from where you can click to buy tickets, and get more info.
I wish all of you a joyous holiday season; rest up and get ready for 2017. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bumpy flight.
