Welcome to my new website. I wanted one that could be a simple as pie; where from the start page you could listen to music, know where I’m playing, click through to Facebook, buy my CDs, see a YouTube video and even read my Blog posts. Unlike many of my much-smarter friends (Hi Dylan Brody and Kelly Carlin) I’m not accustomed to writing down my thoughts online (except when someone posts something wrong on the interwebs and I feel compelled to respond and/or avoid work), so forgive my fledgling forays into life-chronicling. I will work hard not to be boring. I will work a bit less-hard to not be offensive. As my brilliant music-producer friend Kramer reminds at the bottom of every one of his emails, “Woe to him who seeks to please, rather than to appall… Woe to him who, in this world, courts not dishonor.” It’s quote from Melville’s Moby Dick. As I continue through the fun-house mirror of a career in show business, it becomes clearer every day that Ricky Nelson was right: “See, you can’t please everyone, so you got to please yourself.”
We will refrain from the obvious masturbation jokes.
